Ok, I did level one of JMs 30 Day Shred yesterday. I already prefer it to ripped in 30 (probably because I think it’s easier). I should have started with 30 day shred as opposed to ripped in 30. Hindsight is 20/20 right?!
I generally do 30 minutes of cardio along with the video, but I was feeling lazy so I just did a few more strength excersies following the video.
I’m feeling a little sore today, but I started out sore from previous workouts. The last time I did this video (I did it 1 time a year ago and couldn’t walk for a week, clearly I was out of shape, hahahaha). So that’s pretty motivating! I’m in better shape, finally!
I was able to keep up with probably 95% of the exercises. I did have to take a couple breaks though. And I definitely had a good sweat going!
Some people like to work out with friends, I prefer to workout alone. I can get in the zone!
I just started my work day, and as of now I’m committed to working out tonight. Lets hope I don’t get Lazy. Ugh isn’t that the worst word??
Whoa. Hey Tumblr!! It’s been a long time. About 2 months ago (yes 2) I started Jillian Michaels (or JM, as I not so affectionately call her) Ripped in 30. In the beginning, I was pretty good. Did it 3-5 times a week for a few weeks. Ever since I got to week 4 (which I prefer 100x over week 3) I’ve just had no motivation. I still work out, but I skip JM. I just do cardio and strength. To be honest I didn’t notice much difference in my body, but that’s my own fault for not sticking with it good enough. I have lost 3-4 pounds over the last 2 months though, so I’ll take it! So I think I’m going to start Jillian Michaels 30 day shred today. I’ve noticed that lots of people post their progress/thoughts/photos on Tumblr and I found it so informative, helpful and most importantly, INSPIRING. So, I’m going to attempt to do the same!! Maybe not photos tho.. We’ll see.
